My name is Eddy Blockeel ( aka technoman ) and I am a Webdeveloper, Webdesigner, Flash/Flex freak, XHtml/CSS slave, PHP/mySQL user, ... an all-round man.

Although I followed a one-year training as PHP-developer, most things ( as with many developers ) I learned by myself, reading a lot and watching video-trainings, following forums and going to multimedia events.

I realized soon that there is nowhere near enough time in a one-year training to learn everything about this constantly changing subject

I think there aren't too many jobs where things are changing so fast, that you sometimes have to make decisions in what to learn, because there is simply not enough time. A day only has 24 hours and we have to sleep from time to time. So it's a life of constantly learning and exploring, developing and (re)designing, but always done with great pleasure.

For the moment I am experimenting with developing some sites for the iPhone (Ipod), but there are so many things I still want to learn (Coldfusion, Ruby, ... ). I also have a decent knowledge of computer hardware, because first I studied electronics for 3 years (Grad. A1 electronics in Belgium) and I worked as a service technician for 14 years.

So as you see I'm an all-round man and if you need some help with a project, let me know.
